**Job Title **Teaching Assistant

**Based at **Green Labyrinth Study Programme, Milton Road, Swindon, SN1 5JE

**Position reports to **Head of Learner Services

**Job Purpose **To support in-class delivery in accordance with direction from main tutors in

**Summary **Maths, English and Vocational lessons with particular focus on EHCP learners

**Key Responsibilities **1. Follow direction from tutor to support all learners’ access to learner content

**and **2. Contribute to implementation of in-class Behaviour Policy

**Accountabilities **3. Responsible for implementation of company Safeguarding Policy

4. Contribute to regular marking of learners’ formative and summative work, providing written and verbal feedback in accordance with Marking Policy

5. Contribute to monitoring of learners’ performance, attainment and progress including EHCP outcome tracking

6. Contribute to standardisation of work on a termly basis, including student ILP and tracking of evidence

7. Follow all policies and reporting procedures including Health & Safety, Cover,

Equality & Diversity, IAG & Staff Duty policies

8. Commitment to 4 hours of relevant monthly CPD

**Teaching Assistant - Person Specification**
