**Job Title: CMM Inspector**

**Location: Tewkesbury**

**Pay Range/details: Competitive**

**Contract Type: Permanent**

**In this role, you will be responsible for Goods In components ensuring they are of the quality required. Components will include washers, screws etc, alongside more complex machined parts. You will also use a range of measurement gauges, micrometres vernier calipers.**

**Key Responsibilities - CMM Inspector**
- Dimensional Inspection of parts and assemblies using various measuring equipment including CMM machines
- Writing Nonconformance reports and handling of non-conforming parts.
- Participating in Continuous improvement activities within a team environment
- Coordinating with Calibration team to get the inspection equipment calibrated and databases updated.
- Completion of First article reports using Visual FAIR
- Ballooning of Drawing in Visual FAIR
- In addition, the Quality Inspector may aid in problem solving activities, engineering investigations, and corrective action determination.

**Qualifications & Requirements - CMM Inspector**
- NVQ-3, BTEC National Certificate achieved within an indentured apprenticeship preferrable.
- Must have experience working in a similar position ideally in an aerospace industry.
- Must read and understand engineering drawing with good understanding of GD&T inspection techniques.
- Previous experience of working to close tolerances.
- Experience of programming / operating CNC CMM machines.
- Experience of using sophisticated measuring equipment e.g., CMM, Shadowgraphs, Contracer, surface finish inspection, non-contact inspection equipment etc.
- Knowledge of Visual FAIR Software.
- Understanding of AS9102.
- Background in a machine shop environment.
