Disability Assessor - (Homebased)
Location: Norwich
Starting salary of £35,000. This rises to £36,000 after a 6 month probation and then a further increment up to £37,000 after 12 months (Performance based)

We are recruiting for a global, well respected IT company. You will be working for the company’s healthcare branch. The company is one of the biggest holders of the PIP contract in the UK.
**Job Description**:
As a Disability Assessor you will be responsible for carrying out assessments for the PIP benefit (Personal Independence Payment). There are 2 different roles available - Front and Back Office.
Back Office - This is the first stage of the process - carrying out paper-based reviews to gather medical evidence to support the claim and liaising with local GPs and other healthcare professionals.
Front Office - Conducting in-depth telephone assessments with the claimant and writing up reports using the information gathered and your clinical knowledge.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year post qualification experience as one of the following: Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist.
Active registration with either the NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practice
A suitable workspace within your home to allow you to complete your role
