**Overview**

**Responsibilities**

**Accounts**:

- Assist with managing and maintaining the purchase ledger.
- Input purchase invoices into the accounting system accurately and on time.
- Reconcile supplier statements with internal accounts and resolve discrepancies.
- Obtain missing invoices and follow up with suppliers where necessary.
- Review and check credit card and corporate card transactions, ensuring receipts and invoices are obtained and matched accordingly.
- Assist with month-end processes and other ad hoc accounting tasks as required.

**Customer Services**:

- Process customer orders, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
- Maintain and update customer records, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to resolve any service or product issues promptly.
- Assist with customer queries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.**Qualifications**:

- **GCSEs** in English and Maths (or equivalent).

**Skills & Attributes**:

- **Numeric** with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and use initiative to solve problems.
- Strong **communication skills**, particularly with customers and suppliers.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Accurate and thorough in handling accounts and customer information.
- Positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
- Be flexible and willing to pick up new tasks.
- Experience in **Sage accounting** or similar accounting software.
- Experience working in an office environment, preferably in an accounts or customer service capacity.
- Proficiency in **Excel** and **Word**.

Pay: £26,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
