Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, you'll play a core part in providing fantastic customer service.

You'll be required to work some weekends and bank holidays, in line with Kedleston’s operational requirements.

**This role is based on annualised hours, for which the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments across the year.**

What it's like to work here:Based predominantly at the Visitor reception and managed by the Welcome Manager, you'll work alongside 8 other Welcome and Service Assistants and a team of Volunteers, who provide extra support to the team. By getting involved you'll play a vital part in ensuring our visitors have a great experience with us.

Welcoming over 220,000 visitors a year we aim to create wonder by celebrating art and design, from exploring the art and culture of our unique collection of objects from across the Asian Continent, to unpacking how 18th-century design has impacted our world today.

Exciting times lie ahead as we open our doors to a growing number of visitors and establish a long-term plan for the development of our visitor offer.

What you'll be doing:As a Welcome & Service Assistant, it’s your role to ensure that the welcome our visitors receive is perfect, setting them up for an amazing experience for the rest of the day. Visitors are a vital part of what we do, so you’ll be responsible for ensuring that you provide an excellent service to all our visitors, every day.

You’ll be responsible for answering queries and making sure visitors can find everything they need for their visit. Understanding how and why we engage our supporters is key. Working with our spirit of place you’ll work with the visitor welcome team to link everything we do back to our cause and the on-going work we do.

You’ll deliver high standards of presentation at the property, and ensure all our communications with our visitors are clear and consistent, from the first click on the website, to the posters and signs around the property.
