Research Associate in Synthetic Organic Chemistry

A Leverhulme Trust-funded Postdoctoral Research Associate position with Prof David J. Procter is available for 24 months and will involve the development of visible light-mediated, metal-free coupling processes involving sulfonium salts. An outstanding and ambitious synthetic organic chemist is required, preferably with experience in methodology development and target synthesis. You should be capable of working under your own initiative and leading a research team, so excellent communication and organisational skills are also required. You should have, or be working towards, a PhD in synthetic organic chemistry.
