**Role Context**:
This role would suit someone working at Transport Planner or Senior Transport Planner level, and who is looking to consolidate their role as a road safety auditor.

Our Road Safety Auditors provide GG119 Road Safety Audits for a wide range of schemes, large and small, across the UK. We pride ourselves on providing high quality, robust and thoughtful Road Safety Audits with rapid delivery to our clients.
You will be a fully qualified Auditor, preferably with a current Certificate of Competence and SoRSA membership, and highly motivated to work within Safe System principles to help our clients deliver safer roads infrastructure.

Our Auditors form a core part of our road safety team. As such, in addition to working on RSA1 - 4, our auditors undertake other procedural assessments such as WCHAR reports and school crossing patrol assessments, as well as crash analysis and prevention, and operational safety reviews for a range of industrial clients.

**Job Role**:

- Undertake Road Safety Audits as team participant and Team Lead.
- Prepare reports and associated drawings.
- Undertake a range of safety assessments and reviews, supported by the wider road safety team as appropriate.
- Comfortable driving in rural, urban, and motorway environments.
- Provide transport planning support to the wider Transport Planning team as required.

- You have a knowledge of Manual for Streets and relevant Highway standards
- You are a good communicator (written and verbal)
- You have a proven technical track record and ability;
- You are a good team player to contribute to dynamic group
- You have a desire to consolidate your role as a Road Safety Auditor, and enthusiastic to branch out into other areas of procedural work.
