**Team Leader (Parks)**
**About the Role**:
This will Include the responsibility of line Management of Rangers and grounds maintenance operational staff, as well as linking in with friends’ groups and other internal and external organisations.
You will be required to have experience of working in a Parks and Countryside or similar setting, with supervisory management experience along with the appropriate Health and Safety experience, whilst being familiar with the Green Flag Award scheme and Management Plans.
Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with Council staff, public agencies, voluntary organisations, allotment groups and plot-holders along with experience of procurement, understanding of budget implications and ideally have experience in one or more of Parks and Countryside's related specialisms.
You will also require a full driver's licence and be prepared to travel around the borough for tasks such as site inspections or meeting with friends’ groups or members of the public.
