Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Officer to join the team on a temporary ongoing contract. You will be responsible for interacting with all customers on social media and review site comments for all lines if business.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide support to customers on public forums
- Investigate any issues raised ensuring an excellent service is delivered to retain the customer
- Monitor social media activity and respond to customer queries and feedback.
- Promote and maintain high standards of communication in line with Omnichannel Customer Support and brand guidelines for both verbal and written communication.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to deliver cohesive social media strategies.
- Stay up to date with the latest social media trends and tools.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in social media management, ideally within a retail or FMCG environment.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
- Excellent communication and creative writing skills.
- Ability to analyse data and adapt strategies for continuous improvement.
- Good problem solving skills
- Previous experience in a similar role essential
