**_ Starting pay rate is £10.50 per hour for ALL scheduled working time with the potential to progress to minimum guaranteed weekly hour contracts._**

As a care at home Support Worker you may be expected to help with people's personal care, support with medication and meal preparation along with a variety of other tasks. Previous care experience is desirable. However, if you don’t have experience you will need to demonstrate some customer service skills as a basis to build on. This includes excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a good understanding of English. You should be able to engage fully with the people receiving support, chatting & listening and be able to complete communication logs. The desire and commitment to support others and to deliver the highest level of care is vital. Calls are recorded against a call log system so you will need to provide a mobile phone with internet access to use the system.

**All successful applicants will be provided with full induction and necessary training involving classroom-based activity plus shadow training in the community.**

**This post is covered by Regulated Work with Vulnerable Adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scotland PVG Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to undertake and fund PVG membership.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
