**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a Scientific Associate to join the Department of In Vitro Dermal Services located at Elvingston Science Centre, Gladsmuir, East Lothian (close to Edinburgh).
Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to perform in vitro dermal studies where you will be involved in the setting up, conduct, data generation and reporting of studies. Full training will be given in all tasks and duties.
The following are minimum requirements related to the Scientific Associate position:
- You will need to be able to communicate effectively with internal clients and colleagues.
- You should be able to work to tight deadlines and record data accurately.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is important.
The salary is £27,951.22 per annum.

Each year approximately 300 investigational new drug (IND) programs are conducted in our Safety Assessment facilities.
