**About us**

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our Billericay based setting which is situated in the picturesque Norsey Woods.

**Level 2 or 3 childcare qualification is required.**

**Key Responsibilities of our nursery practitioner**:

- Be responsible as a key person for your own key children.
- To create strong parent relationships.
- To deliver a range of exciting and enriching activities and experiences for the children.
- To update children's online learning journals with quality observations and routine checks.
- Gain a clear understanding of policies and procedures, statutory welfare requirements and Ofsted expectations and requirements and to ensure these are maintained at all times.
- To have a clear knowledge of procedures to be followed in case of emergency e.g. fire, lockdown, accident & incident procedures.
- To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the Nursery.
- To ensure that the Nursery conforms to and exceeds the requirements of Ofsted.
- To uphold and ensure a high standard of care throughout the Nursery.
- To implement and maintain the company’s Equality policy ensuring that children, parents and the staff team are valued and practice is positive and non-discriminatory.
- To monitor any safeguarding issues following local authority procedures.

**Safer recruitment**

Pay: £12.84 per hour
