Duranta Energy is a leading player in the anaerobic digestion industry, committed to sustainable waste management and renewable energy production. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of converting organic waste into valuable biogas.

As an Operator, you will play a critical role in our operation. You will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of de-packaging equipment to prepare organic materials for anaerobic digestion. This includes ensuring the proper separation of organic content from packaging materials, maintaining equipment, and adhering to all safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

- De-packaging Operation: Operate de-packaging machinery to separate organic waste from packaging materials, ensuring the quality of the feedstock for anaerobic digestion.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on de-packaging equipment to ensure continuous and reliable operation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling of materials, equipment, and chemical substances.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of the de-packaged organic material and make adjustments as needed to maintain optimal feedstock conditions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of de-packaging processes, equipment maintenance, and any incidents or issues encountered during operations.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other plant operators and technicians to ensure the overall efficiency and success of the anaerobic digester plant.
- Environmental Compliance: Ensure compliance with all environmental regulations and standards related to waste processing and anaerobic digestion.
- Problem Solving: Identify and troubleshoot issues related to de packaging equipment and processes to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.

**Experience**:

- Prior experience in operating de packaging equipment or similar machinery is preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for industrial equipment.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: £22,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
