**Summary**

We are looking for Waking Night Staff to join our Children's Residential teams at Great Oak Lodge Ltd. This role is vital in ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents during nighttime hours. You will play a key role in providing a nurturing environment that supports the development and stability of children and young people.

**Responsibilities**
- Monitor the safety and well-being of residents throughout the night.
- Provide support and assistance to children and young people as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of any incidents or observations during your shift.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding any concerns or updates.
- Assist with care plans and ensure they are followed appropriately.
- Engage with residents in a positive manner to foster a supportive environment.
- Working part of a team

**Requirements**:

- Experience in childcare or working with children/young adults who have experienced trauma is essential
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents and team members.
- Ability to follow care plans and provide individualised support.
- Basic IT skills for record-keeping purposes
- A valid driving license.

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 42 per week

- working in a children's home or similar setting : 1 year (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 25% (preferred)
