Norton Way Group has been in business since 1989 with one site and a handful of employees.We are a very different Norton Way Group now A multi-franchise business, with 7 sites across London, Hertfordshire, and Bedfordshire, with over 400 staff, and future growth already in the planning.- In 2018, we welcomed Citroen to the Norton Way Group, forming a dedicated aftersales department, on the same site as our established Peugeot dealership. Peugeot and Citroen both belong to the successful Stellantis Group.Our Stellantis dealerships are located 10 minutes from the town centre with great transport links, with local amenities and parks within walking distance.**Salary**:
***Basic £26,000 to £28,000 (depending on experience) OTE £35,000 per annum**Location**: Norton Way Peugeot, Works Road, Letchworth, Herts. SG6 1NT**Hours**: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 18:00, alternate Saturdays 08:00 to 12:30**What you can expect from the role**:
Being a dual franchise site, the role is very different on a day-to-day basis, and you will be the main point of contact for our Peugeot and Citroen customers.- Our Service Advisors are an integral part of our business, and one of the most important customer facing roles across the business. Building a rapport with our customers is a must, this in turn builds loyalty and customers return time and time again.Service Advisors assist in the forward planning of the workshop, so being able to use your initiative is a must.You will keep our customer updated at every stage on the progress of their vehicle, and ensure we meet the customer lead timescales.All work completed must be recorded and correctly updated on the system, and customer must be notified of any additional work required. You will also be required to check vehicles coming through the service department.We also look at what you can do not what you have done, and career progress and training is something we encourage across all our roles. You will be invited to take part in manufacturer and internal processes training.**What we need from you**:
Previous experience of working within an automotive service department is preferred, although not essential, as full training on operating systems will be provided. Having Stellantis brand knowledge or having worked for Peugeot or Citroen previously would be an advantage.You will be patient and a good listener, with outstanding communications skills both in person and on the telephone. You will also be computer literate with knowledge of MS Office packages.We are looking for committed individuals who can work independently, multitask, and achieve deadlines.You will need to have a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, a passion for the automotive industry.-
