**Main purpose of job**:Conduct tasks as directed by the Stores Manager and Business Development department for Hire and Sales operations. Process and pack orders, using SAGE accountancy software and courier portals. Prepare, inspect, and clean hire equipment for customer hire. Inspect check and clean hire returns, reporting any damage or shortages. Assist with stock control and co-ordinating courier services.

**Main duties**
- Receive and process Sales and Hire orders.
- Book in / out equipment, accessories, spares and parts for internal department use and customer orders.
- Package and palletise orders for dispatch.
- Liaise with couriers, processing documents and labels.
- Maintain Hire fleet in accordance with company policy, Hire Association guidance and report/record defects.
- Maintain accurate records of stock and Hire Equipment movement/location on SAGE accounting system.
- Conduct testing of Hire equipment in accordance with Hire Association safe hire guidelines and documentation.
- Liaise with Business Development department to schedule and assist with servicing, repairs and maintenance of customers equipment and tools.
- Receive goods inwards, check and process.
- File electronic and paper records regularly
- Check PPE & corporate clothing stocks monthly and report shortages for re-ordering.
- Attending weekly meetings
- Maintain a good standard of housekeeping in your workspace.
- Assist setting up training school, allocating plant, tools, and PPE.
- Any other duties as required in accordance with the needs of the business.

**Salary**: From £10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
