Due to continued growth, we are seeking 2 x Enthusiastic Air Freight Import Clerks to join our committed team at our Yusen Logistics Staines site on a full-time, permanent basis, predominantly working Monday - Friday from 09:00 - 17:00.

The Role

As an Air Freight Import Clerk, you will support our airfreight import services by ensuring all air import shipments undertake their journeys successfully.

Managing Day-to-Day shipments from start to finish, you will raise import Job files, complete Import Customs declarations, arrange final mile deliveries (Groupage/Special) according to customers’ requirements and deadlines, and issue final invoices to relevant parties on Job completion.

Ensuring all import processes are done according to “AEO” compliance.

About You

To be considered as an Air Freight Import Clerk, you will need:

- Freight Experience is essential
- Import Customs clearance experience is essential
- The ability to prioritise and organise workloads
- Excellent IT skills, including MS Word and Excel
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Cargowise Software & ASM Sequoia knowledge is preferable
