Drive process improvement activities in the Reporting team and embedding best practices into business as usual. **What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?** Ensuring the compilation and submission of accurate summary technical documentation for our products to defined project plans and timelines. **Reports to** PRODUCT COMPLIANCE ENA ASSESSMENT & REPORTING TEAM MANAGER **Number of Direct Reports** N/A **Core Relationships** **Internal **-** **Regional Product Compliance, Product Development, Deploy and NPI, Consumer Product Safety, R&D communities & Local Legal Affairs. **External **- SUPPLIERS, PROJECT TEAMS **Geographic Scope** Regional - Europe **Travel Required** N/A **WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR** - Support the review and assessment of routine and novel technical information originating from multiple business partners and internal data systems, using sound technical and scientific principles. Where issues arise, ability to escalate identified issues to the correct stakeholders as appropriate and required to determine best practice. - Support the compilation and submission of accurate summary technical documentation for all products in the Product Portfolio to defined project plans and timelines. - Actively use established Notification and Change Control processes/SOPs to support ongoing global regulatory submissions. - Follow and promote Company, HS&E and Quality procedures and standards to enable the business to achieve and maintain excellent results. - Ensure the confidentiality of all supplier information is maintained to ensure their trust, support and co-operation. - **CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?**: - Do you have experience in a regulatory environment? (for example, Consumer product safety regulations & standards: tobacco, food, drug and cosmetics, toys, electronics) - Do you have knowledge in TPD regulation? - Do you have experience in a regulatory product compliance software system/s? - What does Product Compliance mean to you? **ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE** - Experience of one or more of the following regulatory reporting environments: consumer product safety regulations & standards: tobacco, food, drug and cosmetics, toys, electronics. - Knowledge of TPD2 regulation requirements across categories. - Ability to review and assess technical documentation against current internal & external standards. - Strong organizational skills, with proven track record in managing large amounts of data whilst maintaining a meticulous level of accuracy (‘eye for detail’) & ability to work independently. - Strong teammate who collaborates with peers to support critical projects and results with a positive "can-do" attitude and effective problem solver. - Possess advanced computer proficiency in Microsoft office software & knowledge of integrated IT systems. - A good first degree in Business/Science related degree and/or area of expertise developed through experience and positive track record. **BENEFICIAL**: - Strong SAP System Knowledge. - Experience and awareness of the FMCG industry. **WE ARE BAT** At BAT we are committed to our Purpose of creating A Better Tomorrow.
