Job title: Building Surveyor

**Salary**: £40,000 - £60,000 Dependant on Experience

Location: Birmingham

Our client, a leading name in the industry, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Surveyor to join their team. **Responsibilities**:

- Conducting detailed building surveys, assessments, and inspections to identify defects, maintenance issues, and compliance with regulations.
- Preparing comprehensive reports, including condition surveys, schedules of work, and specifications.
- Managing and overseeing projects, including contract administration and cost control.
- Conducting feasibility studies and advising clients on the viability of construction projects.
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelors degree in Building Surveying or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Building Surveyor, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- In-depth knowledge of building regulations, construction methods, and relevant legislation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in using industry-standard software and tools.
- Membership of a professional body such as RICS or CIOB is highly desirable.
