Offering a salary of up to £32,000 plus a range of benefits, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly successful and ambitious company in a permanent full-time role. The company have an office in Orpington however you will spend the majority of yourtime at clients' premises, troubleshooting problems and providing on-site end-user support.
**The Role**
As Field Service Engineer you would be responsible for identifying and resolving issues with client IT and telecoms equipment and systems in a positive and enthusiastic, professional and courteous manner. You will need to be able to confidently diagnose a widerange of technical issues and implement an appropriate solution to ensure the system or device is performing properly.
Key tasks will include
- Troubleshooting, analysing and solving a range of technical problems for clients
- Maintaining equipment, overseeing the maintenance of client IT equipment and IT infrastructure
- Creating reports to document and keep track of issues
- Routinely test and inspect the performance of IT equipment for quality ensuring they meet compliance standards
- Installing new and more advanced technology systems and upgrades
- You will have an enthusiastic personality with a flexible attitude and must be able to demonstrate a real passion for IT. You will be a well organised and flexible individual with strong communication skills and excellent problem solving and analytical ability.You must be able to work independently as well as being part of the wider IT team.
