We work with local authorities, housing developers, universities, businesses, and other organisations. We operate in a dynamic and constantly changing environment and are in a period of significant growth. Our rapidly expanding network is centred on Exeter and East Devon. Other locations include Plymouth, Salisbury, and Cornwall.

**The Role**

We are looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to deal with the daily transactional level functions associated with running a small finance team.

**Person Specification**

**Responsibilities**
- Manage Sales ledger including raising monthly sales invoices and setting up new customers in accordance with company policy and financial regulations
- Manage Purchase ledger including inputting purchase invoices and reconciling creditors accounts
- Recording bank transactions
- Entering daily and weekly payouts into the finance accounting software
- Debtor chasing
- Weekly payment run to pay suppliers
- Any other duties commensurate with the general nature of the Bank reconciliation

**Requirements**:
**Essential** - Have advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Accounting background; Motivated to strive for high standards in the work performed; Good interpersonal skills

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: £10.00 per hour
