**Overview**
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer programme. As a Camp Counselor, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for children. You will be responsible for supervising camp activities, ensuring the well-being of campers, and fostering a positive atmosphere that encourages personal growth and teamwork.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervise and engage with campers during various activities, including sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures.
- Develop and implement age-appropriate care plans tailored to the needs of individual campers.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all campers feel valued and respected.
- Communicate effectively with campers, parents, and fellow staff members to ensure smooth operations throughout the camp.
- Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for activities while maintaining a clean and organised space.
- Monitor camper behaviour and provide guidance to promote positive interactions among peers.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to camper safety, first aid, and emergency procedures. These training sessions will be a 5 day residential course.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with children of various ages.
- Previous experience working with children in a camp or educational setting is preferred but not essential.
- Basic IT skills for managing schedules, reporting incidents, and communicating with parents as needed.
- A genuine passion for working with children and helping them develop new skills while having fun.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also taking initiative when required.
- A valid First Aid certification is advantageous but can be obtained prior to the start of camp in the training week. Join us this summer as we create unforgettable experiences for our campers

**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 8 weeks

Pay: £400.00-£500.00 per week
