Quantity Surveyor

Quantity Surveyor - Permanent role - Competitive salary plus car allowance
Shorterm Group are working with a Market leading Modular Build company who have an increasing workload and are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial support to their Project Manager to allow management of project and commercial risk, ensuringthat financial performance meets or exceeds profitability targets.
About the Company/Client/Project: Largest offsite design and build contract in the South. This regional contractor operates across the SOUTH and cover Commercial, Education, Healthcare and Residential Housing on projects between £200k to £5 Million
This is a position for an individual to provide commercial project support on-site to the construction teams.
The individual should have proven experience in their ability to communicate with and influence site project teams. Demonstrable experience in the construction industry is essential.

**Responsibilities**:
Prepare and issue standard contract documents
Preparation of Contract Letters and associated documentation to the client including claims for additional cost, EOT etc.
Work with the Project Manager to prepare detailed scope for works for sub-contractors to price
Running Pre-let contract meetings with contractors
Adjust client valuations to incorporate BCIS index rates at the relevant trigger points. determining the effects PMI's have on the project.
Prepare project spend data and forecast costs to complete monthly via the CVR.
Experience required:
5+ years' experience working within a Quantity Surveyor position in the UK
An excellent approach to work and professional outlook on the construction industry
Main contractor/developer experience desired *
Worked on projects up to £5 Million
Worked for a national or large regional main contractor
Qualifications required:
Professional Membership of the RICS, CIOB or ICE is desirable.
Valid CSCS card.
