**Pre-School Practitioner**

Work alongside experienced colleagues, including Early Years Teachers and Level 6 and 3 practitioners, with the support of apprentices. Our School Readiness Programme is built on a child-led approach that inspires wonder and provides diverse learning opportunities, with a focus on the Characteristics of Effective Learning (COEL). Our rich curriculum blends sensory exploration, emotional wellbeing, creative arts and science, outdoor learning, physical activities, language development, and music.
With resources like forest and beach schools, a sensory room, sandpit, mud kitchen, allotment, outdoor classrooms, and more, we provide endless possibilities for meaningful experiences. Supported by a dedicated training lead, SENCO, and the Storypark app for seamless communication with parents, our team is also equipped with ongoing CPD and training options.

**Key Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Level 3 qualification or above** in Early Years Education or equivalent.
- **Experience working with preschool-aged children**, ideally as a key person or room leader.
- Strong knowledge of the **EYFS framework** and child development, including phonics and communication and language skills.
- Ability to design and deliver **creative and engaging play** using the curriculum and available resources.
- **Excellent teamwork** skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and management.
- Experience working with parents to **involve them in their child’s progress** and learning.
- Ability to manage **challenging behaviour** and experience supporting children with **SEN** as required.
- Experience or a passion for **outdoor learning** is highly desirable, with opportunities to lead activities in our forest and beach schools, alongside our level 3 forest school practitioners.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.00-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
