Applications are invited from enthusiastic, adaptable individuals who would enjoy working as an Associate practitioner Medical Laboratory Assistant as part of a friendly team providing administration support to the Cervical Screening service in this busy department.

You will be involved in a range of tasks including the documenting of patient clinical follow up, keeping and checking records on National and local IT systems, trouble shooting data-entry and general office duties. The role will support the BMS staff in ensuring all patients have the correct management. The department also processes diagnostic samples not related to the cervical screening programme.

Severn Pathology processes all of the Cervical Screening throughout the South West. It is a state of the art newly built laboratory with a keen and experienced team.

The work is varied and interesting requiring good attention to detail. Applicants are required to have keyboard skills and previous Cervical screening experience.
