**Boardroom / Merchandising Operative**

Mandarin Stone is a leading importer of natural stone and porcelain products in the UK. We are a family run business that has grown into a very successful and reputable company within the industry. Our Head Office is based in the beautiful Wye Valley in the Welsh border town of Monmouth. We have 15 inspirational showrooms across the UK and are currently recruiting for a Boardroom / Merchandising Operative to join our Merchandising Team based at our Monmouth Head Office.

**The Role of the Boardroom / Merchandising Operative**:
Supporting the Merchandising Director in completing general merchandising at our Monmouth Head Office and our Showrooms. You will be involved in completing refurbishments for our existing and new Showrooms. For these duties you will be expected to travel to the Showroom locations. Refurbishment projects will require you to stay away from home.

**The duties of the Boardroom / Merchandising Operative**:

- Making and building tile display boards to merchandise our showrooms.
- Assisting with ongoing merchandising in our Showrooms.
- Assisting with refurbishing new and existing Showrooms.

**Experience of the Boardroom / Merchandising Operative**:

- We are looking for individuals that have good attention to detail.
- A background in building or tiling would be an advantage.
- Strong practical skills
- Has a strong work ethic and the drive to complete work to an excellent standard.
- The ability to work from different settings.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be able to work on own initiative, lone working and in small teams.

**Job type**: Full Time, Permanent

**Working pattern**: Monday - Friday 8.00am - 5.00pm and alternative Saturdays 9.00am - 12.30pm.

**Salary**: £10.42 - £13.00 per hour
