1. Safely operate a delivery van to transport packages to designated locations.

2. Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure safe and responsible driving practices.

3. Plan and follow optimised delivery routes to ensure efficient and on-time deliveries.

4. Load and unload packages from the delivery van in a careful and organised manner.

5. Verify package contents and match them with delivery manifest to ensure accuracy.

6. Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers in a professional and friendly manner.

7. Obtain recipient signatures or confirmations upon package deliver.

8. Handle cash and card payments accurately, following established procedures.

9. Report any issues or delays to the Delivery Manager promptly.

10. Conduct routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance tasks, such as checking fluid levels and tyre pressure.

11. Maintain a clean and organised delivery van interior and cargo area.

12. Adhere to DPD's safety standards and guidelines at all times.

13. Collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively with the operations team.

14. Attend training sessions and meetings as required to stay updated on company policies and procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£33,600.00 per year
