A specialist setting in Newcastle is seeking a creative
**Higher Level Teaching Assistant** to join their dynamic and forward-thinking school. The school is rated 'good' by Ofsted and prides itself on being a friendly and supportive community.

**As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, your main duties will include**:

- Supporting pupils in their education through the national curriculum
- Teaching and managing small classes during PPA
- Working with a class teacher to implement interventions
- Supporting the planning and delivery of creative and innovative lessons
- Delivering and assessing phonics following the school's chosen program
- Promoting independence with life skills
- Providing an outstanding level of safeguarding and pastoral care
- Be available for work Monday to Friday
- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant or be a recent graduate
- Be proactive, energetic, kind and caring
- Have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Hold relevant qualifications or training for the role
- Have an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to go through the process with us)
- Have a fully checkable work history

In addition, we are currently offering £100 for the successful referral of either Teachers or Teaching Assistants.
