Full & Part Time Permanent Roles Available
Search Healthcare is delighted to be working with one of the largest healthcare providers in the UK to recruit permanent Senior Carers to work within their care homes in Morpeth. Joining their flexible workforce team, we have permanent contracted hours from11 hours to 33 hours per week offering flexible hours to suit your lifestyle.
About the Role:
As a Senior Carer you will plan, implement and supervise the provision of quality care, in conjunction with other colleagues ensuring residents retain their dignity and individuality. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environmentfor residents, colleagues and visitors.
The roles will involve:
Supervision of Carers and to provide direct assistance to residents in all aspects of their care and daily living needs e.g. physical, emotional and spiritual)
Assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical / learning difficulties, making the best use of aids provided, to ensure that they safely achieve their personal goals.
Assist in the delivery of care for residents who are dying or who have a progressive illness to ensure a dignified End of Life.
Complete, observe & review care planning needs for residents, and complete written daily records as instructed and in line with the Company's policies and procedures.
Dispense medication, and ensure correct recording of all relevant information relating to medication (after satisfactory completion of all assigned training)
Minimum Requirements
NVQ or Diploma Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
Experience of working in a similar role in the care sector
Excellent verbal and communication skills
