We are looking for an experienced Heat Treatment Engineer to join an established family business in Bristol. They have been machining high specification components for over 80 years and this is an opportunity to join a strong team. The person will be responsiblefor processing components through the heat-treating facility to the correct specifications as detailed on respective approved data cards.

**Experience & Skills**

Processing components using Heat Treatment furnaces to ensure component parts conform to drawing and process requirements.

Creating and verifying process data cards to satisfy requirements detailed on drawings.

Conducting all calibrations and associated checks in line with detailed Broadway instructions.

Checking, calibrating, testing and verifying the Heat Treatment equipment.

Verifying that external calibration activities are to the required standard.

Assisting the Manufacturing Group Leaders in the manufacturing of parts through the production process, ensuring planned times for processes are met.

**Knowledge**

In depth knowledge of dye penetrant and magnetic flaw detection.

Ability to understand engineering drawings.

Good understanding of quality control procedures.

Ability to check components for defects.

Knowledge of Rolls Royce specifications would be desirable.

Knowledge of NDT processes would be desirable.

37 hours per week - Monday to Friday, early finish on Friday.

Pay Rate up to £15 per hour.

Overtime (when available) paid at time and half.

Annual Leave 25 days + Bank Holidays.
