**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure all direct reports comply with Company Health & Safety policies and standards.
- Immediately report all accidents and near misses to the Loading Manager and H&S Manager, completing necessary documentation.
- Monitor the use of equipment by staff, ensuring only trained operatives handle specific machinery.
- Report any damage or defects to road or on-site equipment to the Loading Manager and Facilities Manager.
- Complete known Consignor training as soon as eligible.
- Adhere to Department of Transport regulations for Air Freight Security.
- Secure all doors and challenge unauthorized personnel on site.
- Enforce staff appearance standards, ensuring uniforms are clean and presentable, and identity passes are displayed.
- Maintain operations in line with MHRA and GDP standards, ensuring excellent housekeeping.
- Uphold cold-chain and controlled drug disciplines.
- Take responsibility for staff training, maximizing efficiency and maintaining training SOPs.
- Manage daily and weekly Cognos Planners for accuracy and timeliness.
- Oversee sickness and absence management to maintain service quality.
- Conduct performance reviews and annual appraisals for contract operatives.
- Plan resources to align with the financial and commercial needs of Alloga UK.
- Conduct return to work interviews in accordance with Company Procedure.
- Discipline staff following the Company Discipline and Grievance Procedure.
- Ensure HR and payroll documentation is completed and submitted on time.
- Promote continuous improvement in contract operations.
- Record and address errors, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
- Communicate effectively with the loading team and other departments.
- Ensure all loading, transport, driver, and customer documentation is accurate and complete.
- Deliver regular briefings to staff.
- Undertake any reasonable requests as determined by Management.


**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations and compliance.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with MHRA, GDP, and cold-chain management is preferred.
