**Support Worker (Days) - Supported Housing**

**Area for post vacancy: Nottingham, NG2**

We specialise in the provision of support, concierge and safeguarding services to providers of supported housing for vulnerable people. This includes a variety of client groups such as young people, those suffering with mental health and homeless people as an example.

We are looking for people who have exceptional people skills and can demonstrate that they:

- have great communication skills,
- are reliable, responsible and can remain professional and calm in all situations.
- are a good decision maker
- have empathy with a range of vulnerable people

**The key aspects of the role include**:
**Please note this is a full-time position**
- Rate of pay £10.40 to £12.08 per hour (dependent on contract arrangements)
- Full time day shifts - 14:00 till 21:30)
- Manage a caseload of clients within a supported housing project and supporting them in accordance with agreed support plans and risk assessments.
- Be familiar and alert to safeguarding issues and concerns.
- Work as part of a team in all aspects of project work
- Handle enquiries on reception
- Assist co-workers in any other issues around support in the building.
- Leading on any emergencies that may arise including liaising with emergency services as appropriate.
- Carrying out various building health and safety checks.
- Maintaining and recording all incidents or important occurrences and carry out effective handovers.
- an **Enhanced** **DBS Certificate less than 3 years old (Essential)**:

- **access to your own car to travel to work (preferable)**:

- an ability to create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- a clear and robust understanding of professional boundaries
- a solid work ethic and ability to always remain vigilant.
- a high level of personal integrity
- the right to work within the United Kingdom.

**Salary**: £10.40-£12.08 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Weekend availability
