**Job Description**:
St Helens Children’s Social Care are seeking to appoint a motivated, extremely committed, highly professional, enthusiastic and extremely effective Business Administration Apprenticeship to join our hard working, dynamic and enthusiastic Children’s Commissioning Team. The role is temporary for 21 Months.
The Children's Commissioning Team is at the centre of children’s social care being the team that is responsible for identifying the most appropriate homes for the children we look after and managing contracts relating to this. We are the direct link between children’s Social Workers and external Providers, and we keep the children at the heart of everything we do. The work is fast paced and varied, and because we are a responsive team, priorities may shift during a day, so adaptability is a key skill.
To succeed in this role you will possess good communication and organisational skills, be confident in using the telephone and have a basic understanding of Microsoft packages Word and Excel and will work effectively as part of a team. You will be required to perform a wide range of administrative tasks, for which you will be given full training and support. Working alongside experienced staff, both in the office and remotely and occasionally onsite at Provider premises, you will build up knowledge and develop many transferable skills. You can expect an exceptional breadth of experience. It’s a unique challenge and you will be very much part of a hard-working, dedicated and friendly team.
