**About The Role**

As a Science Technician at this Secondary School, you will play a critical role in supporting the students' learning and development in science.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and maintaining laboratory equipment. This includes setting up experiments and demonstrations, ensuring that equipment is in good working order and making any necessary repairs or replacements.
- Assisting teachers in the preparation of experiments. You will work closely with teachers to plan and prepare for lessons, ensuring that all materials and equipment are ready and in the right place.
- Providing support to students in the laboratory. You will be on hand to provide guidance and support to students as they work through experiments and projects, ensuring that they are safe and following proper procedures.
- Ordering and stocking laboratory supplies. You will be responsible for maintaining inventory and ordering new supplies as needed.
- A background in science, with experience working in a laboratory setting.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to details and ability to multitask
