You will be responsible for receipting and checking of all deliveries within the Catering Department at Royal Cornwall NHS Trust. Ensuring all stock is stored and rotated appropriately, following set procedures and specifications. This position requires flexibility to accommodate the needs of the service, good communication skills and a positive and professional attitude.

This is a full time post working 37.5 hours per week to include alternate weeks.

Working under the supervision of the Catering Management Team and will be responsible for receipting and checking all deliveries for the Catering Department within Royal Cornwall NHS Trust.

Ensuring all stock is stored and rotated appropriately.

Inventory Management support on business continuity and emergency planning, which will involve ordering of goods.

Ensuring stock is maintained at the appropriate level.

Sustainability is integral to the Trust achieving the NHS Net Zero target. All staff are therefore actively encouraged and supported to implement new ways of working within their field of expertise.

Manage efficiently and effectively stock levels and products.

Ensure stock rotation, safe disposal and/or relocation of surplus, redundant and obsolete stock.

Use own initiative for daily tasks.

Participate and assist in stock takes, year end counts and storeroom amendments as required.
