**Job Type**: Permanent

Hourly Rate: £10.50 - £12.25 per hour (dependent on qualifications). Based on 48 hours per week. Night working / Overtime paid at time and a half.

**About UDP Traffic Management**:
Utilities Design & Planning were formed in 1996 to provide design services for high voltage electricity replacement schemes. Since then we have developed strategically and now provide design, installation and management services to utilities, local authorities & private developers nationally. Services offered by Utilities Design & Planning include Traffic Management, Civil Engineering, Utilities and Design & Consultancy.

We have developed an expertise for working within congested, city centre environments on complex engineering projects. Bringing our knowledge and skills from all functions to provide a one stop solution for schemes, including full turn key project management.

**About the role**:
As an experienced Traffic Management Operative you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and removing temporary traffic management on urban and rural road across the UK.

Your daily tasks will include but not limited to:

- Distributing signs, frames, cones, sandbags in line with industry standards & regulations
- Liaising with clients and councils on site
- Undertaking duties as per on call rota
- Ensure compliance with company risk assessments and method statements
- Updating company app with onsite information in real time
- Helping and guiding new trainees
- Undertaking shifts patterns on days, nights and weekends

**What skills you need**:

- Qualified to minimum Lantra 12D M1/M2
- 12D M5 highly desirable
- Hold a Full UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points
- Self-starter and well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised with attention to detail
- Hardworking and Enthusiastic
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol test
- Knowledge of Chapter 8
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Be able to work independently or as part of a team
- Have a flexible approach to shift patterns
