**The Role**

Household is one of the biggest trading departments at Ocado Retail with opportunities to work with some of the the largest FMCG suppliers. You will be responsible for ensuring your supply base and the product range is optimised, proactively using data and analysis to maximise performance for your relevant categories. This is all underpinned by driving sales, profitability and share growth to support the overall Ocado Retail strategy and goals.**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing supplier performance, identifying potential new suppliers, and support to build long term supplier relationships
- Using insight tools to analyse and understand performance issues and opportunities
- Regularly checking competitors and ensuring that the your range provides the best customer offering whilst also investigating new trends and onboarding trending suppliers into the range
- Negotiating on supplier-funded media and delivering against the target with the support of the Senior Buyer
- Planning and delivering trade, promotions & events plans, striving to exceed KPIs, drive customer penetration and basket spend
- Working with the Supply Chain team to ensure we have best-in-class availability, and helping get our products to our customers on time
- Working with suppliers and the category quality team to ensure product quality is achieved and maintained
- Adhering to all Ocado policies, storage, and handover protocols and successfully completing all of your training so that you have zero GSCOP breaches. Ensuring all agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours of receipt
- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence
