**The Role**:
The Social Media Assistant will help execute the day to day digital marketing campaigns. As a Social Media Assistant, you will have bags of drive and enthusiasm as Digital & Social is a key focus in our strategy. The Social Media Assistant will be supported by a brilliant and collaborative Digital Marketing team who have a long track record of nurturing talent and promoting internally

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support and execute online marketing campaigns in line with business goals, working closely with the online trading team and third party suppliers
- Ensure information provided in campaigns is always accurate and representative of the products,categories and services that are being promoted
- Create clear and concise briefs, working with our internal agency and key stakeholders to ensure campaign deadlines are met and there are clear expectations of the campaign objectives
- Challenge, where appropriate using data to ensure that the campaigns being delivered are always as effective as they can be
- Act as a champion for our customer, ensuring that they are always at the heart of our campaigns

**Skills and competencies**:

- Previous experience working within Digital Marketing or exposure to relevant training (e.g. a Digital Marketing Apprenticeship)
- Able to review and challenge instructions where ambiguity may exist
- A team player, who enjoys working in a collaborative environment
- It is highly likely you will have worked in any of the following roles and/or markets, and worked with the following products and/or services: Building Products, Customer Journey, Digital Marketing Apprenticeship, Digital Marketing Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive, Graduate Marketing Apprentice, Marketing Assistant, Online Marketing, Paid Media, Plumbing & Heating, SEO / PPC, Social Media._
