Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced 1:1 Tutor to provide educational support to a high school student. This is a full-time position based in the Wirral area. As a 1:1 Tutor, you will work closely with the student, providing personalized instruction and guidance to help them excel academically.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide one-on-one tutoring sessions to a high school student in Year 10.
- Develop personalized lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to the student's individual needs and learning goals.
- Employ effective teaching strategies to promote active learning and engagement.
- Assess the student's progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
- Identify areas of improvement and implement appropriate teaching techniques to address any learning difficulties.
- Collaborate with the student's teachers and parents to ensure consistent academic support.
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions and student progress.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a tutor, preferably in a high school setting.
- Strong knowledge and confidence in the high school curriculum.
- Teaching background with the ability to create effective lesson plans and instructional materials.
- Familiarity with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and experience working with students who require additional support.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish a positive and supportive rapport with students.
- Patience, adaptability, and a passion for helping students succeed.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong commitment to fulfilling the tutoring schedule.
- Valid background checks and necessary certifications required for working with students.

**Salary**: £110.00-£170.00 per day

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wirral: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
- Tutoring: 1 year (preferred)
