**Learning Support Assistant - Primary School**

**LSA required at a primary school in Cambridge - Immediate start on a long-term basis - KS1 & KS2 - £90/£95 per day based on experience.**

Have you previously worked with pupils who have Special Needs as a Teaching Assistant and are you seeking a new position that you can start right away? Do you have an interest in assisting a child with Autism and making a meaningful impact on their life?

As the Learning Support Assistant, you will implement a personalised learning plan designed to meet the specific educational and behavioural needs of the pupil you'll be supporting. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children and teachers.

**Learning Support Assistant (LSA) - Cambridge**

**Experience working with students who have autism and other educational needs required**

**Long term role starting immediately - Potential to become a permanent post**

**Salary based on skills and experience between £90/£95 per day**

As the LSA, you will have an understanding of effective teaching strategies for children with autism, as well as experience in dealing with challenging behaviour and managing emotional regulation. You will be able to work as part of a team, taking direction from teachers and the SENCO, whilst also being able to work independently and use your initiative.

The key requirements for this role are:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with children and teachers
- Dedicated, empathetic, compassionate and resourceful
- Prior experience in working with children who have special educational needs (SEN), particularly autism, in a one-to-one setting
- A willingness to take time to understand and support pupils with SEN who may require more time, attention, or adjustments to their learning plans
