Director of Sixth Form Job Purpose:
**Responsibilities & Duties**:
General: - Secretarial and admin support for Director of Sixth Form and Sixth Form Management Team
- Sixth Form Open Evening preparation (including organisation/overseeing of local advertising/editorial etc.)
- Attendance at Internal and External Open Evening
- Attendance on GSCE and A Level results days
- Assistance with organisation of Sixth Form Prospectus & Guide to courses and other Sixth Form publications
- Responsibility/first contact for student reference requests - school/college and employment
- Supervise Head Boy/Head Girl and Deputies with various school charity collections and any other ad hoc duties
- Offering support and guidance to the Admissions Officer
- Answering general queries from teaching staff regarding pupil information
- File management for all Sixth Form related issues - internal and external - General support to staff and students for Sixth Form Ball organisation
- Occasional support for Sixth Form Attendance Officer

**Position Summary**:
The Secretary is responsible for the efficient operation of the office and the management of the general administrative and clerical operations of the company.

**Essential Duties**:

- Maintains a clean, organized, and safe working environment by keeping work areas clean, well-organized, well-lit, and free of debris.
- Performs office procedures such as filing documents, typing letters, scanning documents, copying materials, copying materials from one location to another as needed, and performing other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for providing an excellent first level of administrative support to all The Eleven Group personnel.

- Assists in maintaining the appearance of the office by maintaining floors, walls, windowsills, etc.; cleaning up trash receptacles; taking out trash; restocking supplies; organizing files; dusting surfaces; sweeping floors; vacuuming furniture; sweeping windowsills; dusting furniture; etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to effectively represent the company in dealing with individuals, individuals or groups in a professional manner.
- Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to represent the company in dealing with individuals or groups in a professional manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Spreadsheet and Word Document).
- Ability to type at least 20 wpm. Typing speed must be consistent throughout day. Ability to type 40 wpm is preferred but not required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
