**JOB TITLE**: Weighbridge Operator
**REPORTS TO**: Plant Manager
**LOCATION**: Inverness
**HOURS**: 40 per week - 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with 30 minutes lunch break.
No holidays allowed through the harvest period and weighbridge hours are 7am until finish.
**SUMMARY OF JOB**:
Responsible to the Production Manager for the efficient weighbridge operation of all malt despatch and barley intake to ensure the required levels of customer delivery requests are achieved.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Ensure correct operation and calibration of weighbridge.
- Maintain appropriate weighbridge records for malt, barley and co-products to FEMAS/AUKM standards.
- Co-ordinate weighbridge ticket entry into AX.
- Ensure vehicles comply with FEMAS regulations prior to loading product.
- Sample barley lorries and carry out barley analysis as and when required throughout the year and at harvest.
- Ensure barley passports are available for all loads requiring one.
- Preparation of Customs and Excise documentation on exports.
- Maintain and co-ordinate retained malt, barley and Co-product samples ensuring they are retained for the required period.
- Complete analysis on daily process samples.
- Preparation and dispatch of barley and malt samples to the central laboratory.
- Manage/issue clock cards for site personnel.
- Support with production administration as required.

Working knowledge of AX and SharePoint
Laboratory experience
