**Job title**:Head of Threat Analysis - 12 Months Fixed Term

**Salary**: £65,000+ dependant on experience

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Managing the intelligence function, with responsibility for gathering and analysing strategic intelligence from internal and external intelligence providers, including: espionage activity; terrorism; issue groups; and disseminating the results across BAE Systems Global Businesses.
- Developing and managing relationships with contacts in government agencies to enrich threat assessments, including high level strategic contacts within government to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Management of intelligence providers, including through contract management and overseeing of service provision.
- Responsibility for ensuring all intelligence coming into the central security function is analysed, assessed and disseminated across the enterprise as required through meaningful results, reports or dashboards.
- Chairing regular strategic intelligence meetings with global business security and functional leads.

**Your skills and experiences**:
**Essential**:

- Trained analyst to UK Government, Law Enforcement (or international equivalent) standard or related security industry accredited practices.
- The ability to highlight emerging threats and risks to our people and assets and recommend sensible and effective risk mitigation is a key focus.
- Proficiency with correlation and interpretation of large volumes of data
- Experience providing intelligence assessments and security input and advice to projects in the Government or private sector (preferably with experience of organisations operating to HMG standards or equivalent overseas).
- Capable of a very high standard of written communication including experience of writing complex reports and giving formal presentations

**Desirable**:

- In-depth knowledge of HMG or Industry security strategy, policy, standards and good practice and processing protectively marked information

**The Group Security Team**:
Working for one of the largest defence companies in the world, this exciting opportunity is to work within the Group Security team, reporting into the Group Security Director within Head Office. You will be responsible for managing the intelligence function and transferring intelligence information across the wider BAE Systems business. This is an excellent opportunity to use your skills you may have in the private sector and within defence and develop a huge network within the company and conduct international travel.
