**The Role**
Your work is likely to comprise site survey work, report and other document drafting, data modelling and desk study research.
As a result, you will gain exposure to a wide range of the services that are offered by Logika giving you a fantastic opportunity to experience a diverse range of environmental consultancy.
It is the philosophy of Logika that the role of an environmental consultant should be to ensure that environmental issues are at the heart of development design. Therefore, it is of importance that you should have a creative streak, being able to work with our landscape designers to embed ecological design solutions into development proposals to ensure the meeting of Biodiversity Net Gain requirements whilst also helping to achieve other green infrastructure ambitions such as reducing flood risk and improving air quality.
**Skills and experience we are looking for**
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including excellent report writing skills are an absolute must.
- A good understanding of environmental and ecological legislation, the development planning process and Environmental Impact Assessment.
- A strong understanding of the role of an ecological consultant and a desire to forge a career in the sector.
