The Lead Sonographer position is a senior clinical role here at Liverpool's Women's Hospital that involves providing professional leadership and managing the ultrasound service, including supervising/managing staff, developing protocols, and ensuring high-quality patient care and service delivery.
The Lead Sonographer will h ave a hybrid role with clinical and managerial responsibilities. They will be involved in the co-ordination, delivery and development of ultrasound services within national standards at LWH. They will be expected to p rovide clear clinical leadership for the day to day organisation of the ultrasound service in accordance with professional and departmental protocols and c ommunicate effectively with the wider multidisciplinary teams at LWH.
