We are recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You'll be working within a company full of driven people who strive to keep Tingdene as the leading manufacturer of park homes and holiday lodges.

To succeed in this Maintenance Engineer role, you will:

- Have a consistent approach in dealing with issues
- Carry out and complete internal maintenance projects and continuous improvement activities
- Effectively deal with breakdown issues, temporary/permanent repairs, and modifications
- Carry out routine planned maintenance and monitoring along with rectifying all maintenance issues that arise during the shift
- Have experience as a multi-skilled electrical and mechanical engineer (strong electrical skills essential)
- Report any issues and maintain good communication with all departments
- Ensure that equipment downtime is kept to a minim and building upkeep is maximised through efficient response times and continuous improvements

Onsite job tasks may include, but are not limited to:

- Painting and decorating
- Maintenance of equipment and tools
- Basic plumbing
- Basic electrical works
- Basic carpentry work (adjustments of doors, kitchen units, etc)
- Furniture assembly
- External works including gardening and general grounds maintenance

**Essential Skills**:

- Experience as a multi-skilled tradesperson including painter, decorator, general property maintenance, engineer, carpenter, plumber, flooring fitter, electrician, etc
- Knowledge of GDPR legislation
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships and influence at all levels
- Basic health and safety knowledge (IOSH qualification advantageous)
- Experience of IT communications systems

**Desirable Skills** Park Home and Leisure lodge industry experience or similar knowledge is desirable but not essential to this Maintenance Engineer position.
