Test Operative

**Job Summary**:
The Test Operative will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of PCB assemblies through rigorous testing procedures. Working within our manufacturing facility, the Test Operative will be responsible for executing various tests, troubleshooting any issues, and collaborating with other team members to maintain high standards of product quality.
**Main tasks and duties**:
Perform functional testing of PCB assemblies using a variety of testing equipment and software.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or discrepancies during the testing process, including
defective components, faulty connections, or incorrect functionality.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures throughout the testing process,
maintaining accurate records of test results and any deviations encountered.
Work closely with production teams to address any quality concerns or issues that arise during testing, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
Assist in the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Participate in continuous improvement to enhance testing procedures, efficiency, and overall product quality.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of testing procedures, results, and any necessary
adjustments or modifications made during the testing process.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Ensure that the working area is kept clean and tidy at all times.
From time to time, you may be requested to carry out other tasks. These tasks will be within your capabilities or carried out with training or supervision.
