Join our team as a Support Worker and embark on a unique opportunity to provide specialized care to an 18-year-old female with complex needs.

This role involves a 24-hour double up arrangement, ensuring round-the-clock support in a collaborative environment.

**Responsibilities**:
Deliver personalized and specialized support to an 18-year-old female individual with complex needs.

Foster a safe and nurturing environment, emphasizing empathy and understanding.

Collaborate closely with another staff member in a rotational 24-hour shift arrangement to provide continuous care and assistance.

Utilize effective communication and teamwork to ensure the individual's needs are met consistently.

Address challenging behaviors in a patient and composed manner, adhering to the principle of non-restraint as the individual is now considered an adult.

Document and report observations, incidents, and progress accurately and in a timely manner.

Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, striving to enhance the individual's quality of life.

**Requirements**:
Prior experience in a similar care or support role is preferred.

Strong ability to manage challenging behaviors and remain composed in high-stress situations.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to maintaining the individual's dignity and autonomy.

Flexibility to work in a 24-hour rotational shift pattern, including full days and waking nights.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary contract

**Salary**: £11.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Every weekend
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Bradford: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Support worker: 1 year (preferred)
