A component of this is the expansion of our Dialectical Behaviour Therapy team, where Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) is a core offer.
DBT is embedded within our Integrated Community Mental Health Teams (ICMHT's) too.
Dialectical Behaviour Therapy needs a new clinical leader to oversee an ever-expanding group of DBT therapists and also play a part in developing the Structured Clinical Management clinical pathway.
This person will be a dedicated, enthusiastic, and passionate champion of DBT and other treatments that support clients with complex emotional difficulties.
**Main duties of the job**:
You will be a registered psychologist and accredited DBT therapist, ideally accredited as a DBT supervisor as well, or a DBT therapist and supervisor with substantial experience delivering, supervising, training, and overseeing DBT and/or psychological therapies.
You will offer therapy, supervision and consultation, and ensure that DBT groups are available across primary and secondary care. Through dynamic leadership you will support and encourage our DBT workforce, ensuring that they have opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.
You will ensure and oversee succession planning, audit and evaluation, performance reporting, clinical governance and day-to-day DBT delivery. You will also need to oversee and coordinate the training and supervision needs of our DBT workforce
