**Salary: £50,000 - £55,000**
**Location: hybrid working**
**Duration: fixed term contract**
Sellick Partnership has been assigned to recruit a Financial Accountant on a short fixed term contract for a profitable, reputable and instantly recognisable retail business in Manchester.
**Key Accountabilities**:
- Complete monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting for various operating expenses of the trading business, including intercompany accounting
- Assist the Finance Manager in further aspects of financial accounting and management reporting as part of the monthly and quarterly reporting cycle
- Support the statutory reporting obligations including stat accounts production and audit
- Provide ad-hoc financial guidance to support the wider business
- Ensure that Sox controls are operated effectively. Work with internal audit and external audit in the testing of these areas
- Supply relevant accounting information to the Group team for the production of Group IFRS consolidated accounts
- Ensure the delivery of production of high quality management and financial information in a timely manner
You will have a proven deadline driven track record with robust technical accounting ability, including up to date Financial and Statutory reporting knowledge. Experience in Oracle financial systems and Microsoft packages is preferred.
